Plastic coil binding
Plastic coil binding provides some unique advantages over other binding styles. First and foremost, plastic coil binding allows your pages to lie flat - something that is ideal if your text encourages note taking.
Plastic coil binding is also very durable and scratch resistant. You'll never have a concern about pages coming loose - even after repeated use.
Pastic coil binding makes an excellent binding style for a number of books. Examples include cookbooks, technical books and manuals, children's books, gardening books and hobby books.
Because of the punching process, please allow a 3/4" margin on the binding edge of each page and at least a 1/2" margin at the top, bottom, and outside edge of the page.
Book1One works exclusively with PDF files. Creating a PDF is very easy and can be done two different ways:
1. You can convert your document to PDF using your own PDF converter
either online or as a print driver on your own computer. When
converting to PDF, please maintain the "highest resolution" and make
sure the fonts are embedded.
2. Book1One's online-ordering system allows you to upload many
different file formats. This system will convert your file to a print ready
PDF. Please be sure to completely review your file on the "approve
page" as this is the file that will print.

When creating a cover for your plastic coil book, you can format it the same as your other text pages. Unlike perfect binding there is no spine to be concerned with. |
